It is a very common question asked by majority of us – can medications cure haemorrhoids?
Often, we heard of “my haemorrhoids is cured, no symptoms are observed after taking medications. I am okay now.” Yet, few weeks later, the story may turn the other way round, it may reoccur.
If the symptoms are back or become even worst, one will start to get worried or panic! In this video, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐠 𝐒𝐳𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐰, Consultant General Surgeon from NSCMH Medical Centre – 森华医疗中心 (Seremban), has mentioned about medications or drugs are usually for symptomatic relief only.
According to Dr. Ng, some medications contain certain ingredients, they are able to increase and eventually improve the blood circulation in the haemorrhoids. However, medication alone will not cure haemorrhoids. The effects will be better if medications are combined with surgery or Laser Haemorrhoids Treatment. The combined therapy benefits are faster recovery and decrease in recurrence rate after surgery.
Early treatment is the best treatment for all diseases, not only for haemorrhoids.
